Hello lovelies!

I’m Rhian the creator and lead designer of Winter and the Willows. I am a design focused florist, who is style led and I would say my aesthetic is polished boho with a dose of garden whimsy.

Prior to Winter and the Willows I had a career in TV and Fashion for over 10 years. Although I still loved working in the fashion industry it wasn’t until I full immersed myself into floral design that I really found my art medium.

THE ONE

I have always lived by ‘find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life.’ and I have been fortunate enough by finding two passions which I believe have complimented one another.

When I'm Not in the Studio

I have always been a day dreaming nature lover, spending my time running through the Welsh hills imagining I was in a scene from The Secret Garden. Nothing much has changed really apart from now I’m joined by my husband, two little girls and our giant spotty dog. I spend most of my free time in little coffee shops, out hill walking or cosied up planning our next family adventure. 

Wedding season can get a little intense so I relish slow living when the chaos clears and find joy in other art mediums such as ceramics, flower pressing and I love antique shopping although I like to pretend it’s for work purposes. 😉
